By concentration, we mean the number of essential oils and aromatic chemicals diluted in alcohol. Conventional wisdom says that the more concentrated a fragrance is, the longer it lasts.

This logic makes sense, however, there is a problem.

The oils on your skin better retain aromatic molecules and improve longevity. Therefore, a trick to make your perfume last longer is to moisturize first. Put some Vaseline or other oil where you will apply your fragrance before spraying. Fragrance oils will bind better to skin oils and will hold the scent longer.

The perfume that lasts the longest would also be the one that comes in high concentration, although that doesn’t matter as much as its molecular composition.
